In 2004 C. Scott Nutgrass founded Universal Funding Consultants, Inc. as a professional service firm offering comprehensive agency for clients participating in the Federal Universal Service Fund. With over fifteen years of program experience, Scott has grown Universal Funding Consultants into a leading educational services firm with a commitment to being the most comprehensive and efficient knowledge source for its clients and helping schools achieve their technology and educational goals. As respected E-Rate and educational technology expert, Scott provides strategic and operational leadership for the team. When not reading up on FCC filings, Scott enjoys fishing, spending time outdoors and following Atlanta United. He lives in Macon, Georgia with his wife and three sons.


Scot brings twenty years of corporate and small business management experience to the company. With a significant record of achievements in marketing, education, sport and account management, he is responsible for business development, client and media relations. Originally from Illinois, Scot now lives in Decatur, GA with his wife and daughter. When he is not engaged in marketing and program management, he competes in triathlons, serves on non-profit boards, and volunteers in a variety of disability rights and wellness initiatives.


Chris brings over twenty years of project management and information systems experience to UFC. While over the last ten years he has specialized in data science, he is an effective problem solver and multi-disciplinarian, and has attained a diverse set of skills related to analytics, systems design and implementation. His approach to information systems is firmly rooted in anthropology, pragmatism and a broad ecological view. At UFC, Chris is responsible for all things information and technology, including the development of E-Rate program tools, process design and expanded IT services. Chris lives in Decatur, GA and enjoys hiking, cooking, music and soccer.
